BEYGOOD HOUSTON
On August 25th, Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Southeast Texas and left a devastating path of destruction in its wake. The recovery process from this storm will be very long and very difficult for the residents of Houston and the surrounding communities. I was invited to visit Houston by the BeyGood Organization and Beyoncé Knowles to document the recovery efforts and survey the aftermath of the storm. While the damage done was heartbreaking, the resilience and spirit of the people of Houston left my heart full of love, positive energy and respect. Watching a community band together to help themselves in the face of incredible adversity is something that will never leave my mind.
The people of Houston need your love, help and support, and they will need it for a long time to come.
The BeyGood team is on the ground making a direct impact on people who need help the most.
